![]() This timer continues to count up after reaching 0:00, but could easily be reverted to land on a final text. So in the end, I made a script that builds the timer with a user entered unique name and action name that is used in the displayed text. It's a show in NYC, run through Qlab but also working with Isadora and some specific programs like Mosaic Designer. Also, making a multiple timers required renumbering some of the cues as well as updating where those cues are addressed in scripts and OSC cues leaving lots of room for error as well as taking quite a bit of time. ago by hbomberman Hourly rate for Qlab/show control programming A company I used to work with is looking to have me back to handle their show control programming and some design-and I'm figuring out how much to bill them. My two main questions about the new version are. Some of them have no intention of switching to QLab 5. This makes setting the initial time much more fool proof (looking at myself here), as well makes the variable memo cue more readable. to QLab Hi all, I take care of several theatres for which I create QLab Workspaces. The last group in this tour of my show template is my collection of audio that I use to tune the room after load-in. Primary difference is that time is kept in hms rather than a mass of seconds. In this template, there is only one video surface in Qlab, but if I had multiple each would be tested individually, along with text-to-voiceover notes describing what is happening. Therefore I ended up making my own based off of Mic's script, and made a few changes to fit my use case. I also have found myself in need of many many timers that I can implement quickly. ![]() 15 In QLab Preferences > Audio, check that your audio output is patched to to your external interface. 14 Make sure the workspace is set to Show mode to prevent changes. 4.47K subscribers Subscribe Like Share 6.2K views 7 months ago QLab 5 is here, with an all-new video engine, collaborative workspaces, workflow improvements, and so much more. I just like to know exactly how everything works that I use. (Do not put QLab in full-screen mode if you are running video.) 13 Go to Tools > Black out desktop backgrounds. ![]() I wasn't a fan of the cookbook counter, maybe just because I didn't make it and I'm wary of programming I don't fully understand or didn't make myself. ![]()
